Every sip leaves something behind
Saliva, food, hair. In a loop it stays in the water. Here, water that’s been drunk from drains to the used-water tank.
No filters. Nothing to buy, nothing for slime to grow in.
The pump only moves clean water. It never sits in saliva, hair or crumbs.
Used water drains away. Into its own tank. It never comes back.

The same water
Saliva from every sip. Crumbs from the wet food they just finished. Loose hair, the odd dipped paw. In a standard fountain, none of it leaves. It’s pulled through the pump and poured back over the next drink, day after day, and with more than one pet it builds up even faster.

The pink slime
Run a finger inside your fountain. Slick. Pink, sometimes orange. That’s commonly Serratia marcescens, the same bacterium that grows as pink film in damp showers.
Now open the pump. Owners describe finding massive black gunk and a thick, slick coating on every surface. All of it sitting in the same loop your pets drink from.
So you give up another Sunday: every part apart, a toothbrush in the crevices, a pipe cleaner through the spout, a vinegar soak. Three days later, it’s back.
It’s not your cleaning. It’s the loop. A fountain that pumps the same water past saliva and food all day is feeding the slime.

The filter betrayal
Carbon filters are built to remove chlorine. But in tap water, that chlorine is there to help keep bacteria in check.
Strip it out, add saliva and food protein, keep it at room temperature and circulate it for days: that’s ideal ground for slime. A cartridge packed with organic matter can become one more place for bacteria to settle, which is one reason owners find slime even after fitting a fresh one.
You’ve been paying, cartridge after cartridge, for a part that was never designed to fix the real problem.
The fix isn’t a better filter. It’s no loop at all.

The solution
2.6 L of fresh water behind clear walls. The pump lives here and only ever moves clean water.
Fresh water is delivered to a detachable tray in food-grade ABS or stainless steel. This is the only place your pets drink.
Water from the tray drains into a separate tank, away from the pump and the clean supply. You empty it. It never cycles back.
What still needs you: your pets drink from the tray, so it still gets the odd crumb and you still rinse it. The difference is that nothing gets pumped back around.

For cats who need to drink more
Kidney trouble, urinary issues, or simply getting older: you leave the exam room with one job. Suddenly you’re watching the bowl, counting the trips, wondering whether she drank enough today.
A fountain can’t treat or prevent any condition, and it doesn’t replace your vet’s advice. What it can do is remove one reason she walks away from her water: water that’s been circling past saliva and slime.
When every sip matters, the water shouldn’t be the thing you worry about.

Faucet cats
Many cats are wary of still, stale water. It’s instinct, not bad behaviour. If yours yowls at the sink until you turn on the tap, she’s telling you what she trusts: water that’s fresh.
This fountain gives her water that has never been recycled, without leaving the tap running all day.

Real life

Saliva, food, hair. In a loop it stays in the water. Here, water that’s been drunk from drains to the used-water tank.

The paw-dipper and the messy eater: what lands in the tray drains away instead of being pumped back for the next drink.

Put a second unit upstairs or in a quiet corner so the shy one never has to wait for the bold one.
The real cost
Sticker price is one number. Five years of filters is another.
| Cost | Budget fountain | Premium “smart” fountain | Two-tank fountain |
|---|---|---|---|
| Upfront | ~$30 | ~$40 | €135,00 |
| Filters per year | ~$60 | ~$96 | $0 |
| Filters over 5 years | ~$300 | ~$480 | $0 |
| Total after 5 years, before any replacement pump | ~$330 | ~$520 | €135,00 |
And that’s before your time. Twenty minutes of scrubbing a week adds up to over 17 hours a year.
Estimates based on typical replacement filter prices. Your costs depend on the model and how often you change filters.
Before you buy
Most cats need a few days with anything new. Set it next to the bowl they use now and leave both out until they switch. Please note that returns are accepted for unused items within 14 days.
It doesn’t need one because it doesn’t reuse water: fresh water goes to the tray and used water drains to its own tank. If you prefer filtered or bottled water, fill the clean tank with that.
The clean tank holds 2.6 L. For pets on different floors or rooms, a second unit means nobody waits.
It ships with a USB cable, so no need for constant battery changes.
[ADD: noise level, once confirmed with a sample unit.]
Same fountain, same two tanks. Standard comes with a food-grade ABS tray; Stainless steel swaps in a stainless steel bowl.
Most US orders arrive in about 2–3 weeks. Here’s why, and what happens along the way.
Why it’s not next-day: your fountain ships directly from our manufacturing partner, not from a retail warehouse. No middlemen and no storage markups, which is how we keep the price fair.
Days 1–3: your fountain is checked, packed and handed to the carrier.
Around days 7–10: it arrives in the US and clears customs.
Around days 10–18: your local carrier brings it to your door.
These are typical times; customs can occasionally add a few days. We keep an eye on every order and email you along the way, and if anything holds yours up, you’ll hear it from us first. Import duties, if any, are paid by the buyer.
Your pets will drink something today. It can be water that’s been circling the same loop, or water that only ever moves one way.
